9 settimane per minto, 6 per Alberghini. Fritz, espulso in heineken, prende 3 settimane + 15000 euro di multa per un dito medio alzato verso il pubblico che lo fischiava
Two separate disciplinary hearings were held in Heathrow, London today for two Italy players cited for incidents of foul play in matches at the first Six Nations weekend.Francesco Minto, Italy ‘A’ openside wing-forward was suspended for 9 weeks by an independent Six Nations disciplinary committee, chaired by Antony Davies (England), also comprising Philip Orr (Ireland) and Jean-Philippe Lachaume (France).The player had been cited by the independent Six Nations Citing Commissioner, Ken Pattinson (England), for making contact with the eyes or eye area of an opponent in the match versus Scotland ‘A’ at Galashiels on Friday.In arriving at the sanction, the committee deemed the act of foul play to be at the low end entry point and allowed three weeks for various mitigating factors.  As a result, Francesco Minto is free to resume playing after midnight on 11 April 2011. Giovanni Alberghini, the Italy U20 centre, was suspended from playing for 6 weeks, having pleaded guilty to an act of foul play in the match against Ireland U20 in Parma on Friday that left his opponent with a wound below his left eye that required stitches and would leave a permanent scar.The player had been cited by the independent Six Nations Citing Commissioner at the match, Paul Minto (Scotland).In arriving at their decision, the independent Six Nations Disciplinary Committee, chaired by Rod McKenzie (Scotland) and comprising Antony Davies (England) and Terry Vaux (Wales), considered that the act of foul play, a stamp to the head during a ruck, contrary to Law 10.4(b), merited a top-end entry point in the scale of IRB sanctions taking into account the reckless nature of the offending, the extent of the injury sustained by the Ireland player together with the vulnerability of the opponent but also took into account various mitigating factors including the player’s early admission of guilt and previous good disciplinary record. Giovanni Alberghini is free to resume playing after midnight on 20 March 2011.Both players have the right of appeal.

Non so se Alberghini verrà squalificato; certo è che la follia che ha commesso, in una situazione in cui l'Italia aveva già avuto il vantaggio da parte dell'arbitro, con una punizione in mezzo ai pali dentro i 22 irlandesi, con la possibilità di passare in vantaggio e con l'inerzia del match tutta in nostro favore, andrebbe punita in primis dalla FIR!!!!
Stiamo parlando di un giovane ma con la sua c...ta ha vanificato gli sforzi di tutti e gli altri 21 giocatori ed un messaggio va chiaramente dato. Dopo quel fallo, con circa 10 alla fine, l'Italia è andata in bambola e ha subito le 2 mete del ko, per chi non avesse visto l'incontro.

Non scherzo, l'Italia e' in testa in una classifica: quella dei giocatori citati a comparire davanti ad una commissione di disciplina!

Ecco il comunicato stampa in inglese:

Scotland �A� in Gala, on Friday evening and Italy under 20 centre,
Giovanni Alberghini, has been cited for an alleged stamp to the face of
an opponent in the match with Ireland under 20 in Parma, also on Friday
evening.

	Hearings for the two players will be held in front of two Six Nations independent disciplinary committees in London on Tuesday.
Praticamente Minto della A per contatto con la zona degli occhi di un avversario ed Alberghini per avere camminato sulla testa di un irlandese sono citati a comparire martedi davanti ad una commissione di disciplina a Londra
